Ajit Mohan Quit Meta: Social media giant Meta has suffered a major setback in India. The company’s India head Ajit Mohan has resigned from the company and will join rival Snap, where he will take over as the head of Asia-Pacific. Ajit has decided to leave the meta to take advantage of another opportunity outside the company. He has been instrumental in shaping and growing our India operations over the last four years. So that they can serve millions of Indian businesses, partners and people.

Mohan, who has increased the company’s revenue in India, has resigned with immediate effect. He joined Hotstar on Meta, then Facebook in January 2019. During this, Mendelsohn said, we are grateful for Ajit’s leadership and contribution and wish him the best for the future.

Ajit will join Snap

On the other hand, Snap CEO Evan Spiegel said, “We are confident that Ajit’s leadership will help us develop and accelerate ourselves in the Asia-Pacific.” We are very excited to have Ajit join the Snap team. Meanwhile, a Snap spokesperson told Reuters that Mohan would join Snap as president of Asia-Pacific and report to Chief Operating Officer Jerry Hunter.
