Rohitashv Gour On Work: ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ (Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai) is one of the most favorite shows of TV. Each character has its own strong fan following and Tiwari ji aka Rohitashv Gour is also one of them. He has been associated with the show for the last 7 years.
‘Bhabi Ghar Par Hai’ started in the year 2015. From the very beginning, Rohitash Gaur is making the audience laugh with his funny style. There is no doubt that Rohitash’s comic timing is tremendous and people are his big fans, but he never wants to play comic roles anymore. It is not us but ‘Tiwari ji’ himself has disclosed this.
‘Tiwari’ of ‘Bhabi Ji’ does not want to work in TV
According to ETimes, while giving a speech at a Lucknow-based university, ‘Tiwari ji’ has made it known that he will never work in TV again after ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ is closed. He says that instead of TV, he wants to do mature roles in OTT. The actor said, “Maybe after ‘Bhabi Ghar Par Hai’ I will do TV. I want to do mature work – like the work being done in OTT these days. The day ‘Bhabi Ji’ show ends, I will not work on TV. I think a lot of work has been done on TV. I am not made for daily soaps. I want to work on other things as well, which is not possible on TV.”
Rohitash further told that stars like Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vineet Kumar who studied from NSD (National School of Drama) did not get work on TV because they were not like chocolaty boy but today they have dominated OTT . He said that earlier NSD graduates used to work in TV, but now they are not doing so because of the quality of work.
