Healthy Breakfast Options: Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day. If breakfast is healthy and filling, then there is a different energy in the body throughout the day. Similarly, choosing the wrong items leads to laziness and lethargy throughout the day. When we talk about healthy breakfast, it does not only include things like fruits, milk and eggs, but there are many other tasty Indian breakfast options. Know that some such breakfast items are healthy as well as tasty.
Moong Dal and Paneer Cheela –
This item is an excellent source of protein. Soak the washed moong dal in the night and in the morning add ginger, green chili, coriander and grind it finely. Make cheese stuffing for this. Mash raw paneer and add finely chopped vegetables of your choice like capsicum, onion, carrot etc. Now add dry spices like coriander, garam masala, salt, chaat masala etc and the stuffing is ready. Spread the chillies of lentils on a non-stick tava (griddle) and roll it like a dosa by stuffing paneer in the middle. By eating it, one does not feel hungry for a long time.
Sprouted pulses and vegetable salad –
Salad of sprouted pulses and vegetables is healthy as well as heavy. That is why it is advised to eat it during the day. It is rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Use lentils by sprouting and add your favorite vegetables cut on top of it. Add chaat masala and lemon, coriander and green chilies and mix. If you want, you can also add soaked peanuts to it. This high protein breakfast is also very good for diabetics.
If you are fond of smoothies –
You can also choose smoothie for breakfast. Put your favorite fruits in the freezer for a few hours and run them in the mixer. Like banana, mango, apple etc. You can also add some milk, nuts and oats along with them (oats are optional). For sweetening, you can use natural sugar like dates or honey. Take it out in a glass or bowl and garnish with finely chopped dry fruits and cinnamon powder. You can also garnish with cocoa powder. This breakfast will give you all the nutrients and will also be very light on the stomach. You can choose different fruits every day.
