Yellow Soles: Like the color of the skin, the color of everyone’s soles is also different. If someone’s soles look light pink, some are reddened, then there may be more yellowness in the skin of some soles. These are all normal situations. But if the color of the soles is becoming very yellow then you need to pay attention to it, it can also be a sign of some disease. When a person suffers from an underactive thyroid, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, or high cholesterol, the level of carotenoids in their blood increases. These carotenoids are a type of pigment. Normally the body gets rid of these carotenoids in the form of waste. But when a person is suffering from any of the diseases mentioned here then it becomes difficult for the body to do so. As a result, the color of the soles of the feet and palms may also appear more yellow.


When the increasing yellowness in the body is not limited to the soles but starts dominating your skin, white part of the eyes and nails as well, then it is a symptom of jaundice. Jaundice can be due to many reasons. Jaundice can also be caused by consumption of contaminated water, consumption of infected food, hepatitis B and C, contraceptive pills or reaction to certain medicines.


If yellowness appears on the soles of the feet as well as on the palm and under the nails, then it can be a symptom of anemia. If along with increasing yellowness in the soles of the feet, you are also experiencing some of the changes mentioned here in your body, then it is a symptom of anemia.
