India Capitals won the LLC title by defeating Bhilwara Kings


Legends League Cricket Final: India Capitals won the title by defeating Bhilwara Kings by 104 runs in the final match of Legends League Cricket (LLC). Batting first, Gautam Gambhir-led Capitals scored a huge total of 211/7. Chasing a big target, the Kings got setbacks in the beginning and again they could not recover from it. The entire team of Kings was reduced to 107 runs. Batting first, the Capitals did not have a good start and they lost their four wickets for 21 runs.

After this Ross Taylor and Mitchell Johnson took over the innings. There was a partnership of 126 runs for the fifth wicket between the two. Johnson was dismissed after scoring 62 runs in 35 balls. Taylor also batted vigorously and scored 82 runs in 41 balls. Taylor hit four fours and eight sixes in his innings. After this, in the end, Ashley Nurse played a smoldering innings of 42 not out in 19 balls, taking the Capitals beyond 200.

Chasing the score, the Kings got the first blow on the score of eight runs. After this, his three wickets had fallen on the score of 44 runs. Jessel Karia (22) and Shane Watson (27) tried to handle the innings, but they lost their wickets under the pressure of the ever-increasing run rate. After the dismissal of these two, the Kings lost wickets at frequent intervals and the entire team was bundled out for 107 runs. For Capitals, Pawan Suyal, Praveen Tambe and Pankaj Singh took two wickets each.
