Is Bollywood over? Rakul Preet Singh told why movies are not playing

Rakul Preet Singh On South Vs Bollywood: The time of Bollywood is not going well for some time now. Most of the films being made in Bollywood are flopping badly at the box office. At the same time, the films of South cinema are being liked by the people, due to which these films are also earning a lot of money. In today’s time, South Vs Bollywood has become a topic of discussion and every day the opinion of some star keeps coming out on it. At the same time, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh has talked about all this.

Speaking on South Vs Bollywood at India Today Conclave, Rakul Preet Singh said, “Cinema is the language of emotions, not boundaries. The conversation about this has started now, but veteran stars like Sridevi and Tabu have already worked in South’s films. Today we have social media, so more discussions are happening about it.”

Is Bollywood over?

Is Bollywood over? Responding to this question, Rakul said- “This is only one time. People like to write about things that are not working, but it takes a lot of hard work to make them. South films are going on, but we are talking only about those films which are releasing here, films which are not releasing here and are not playing.

Why are Bollywood movies not playing?

In this conversation, Rakul Preet Singh also told why Bollywood films are not playing. He said, “It is not about the running of Bollywood and South films, but after the corona epidemic, the taste of people has changed and it matters what kind of cinema people want to watch. People now like to watch large than life cinema.”

Rakul also said that there has been a difference in people’s ability to spend money after the pandemic. At the same time, the films which were not playing earlier, they got a good response on National Cinema Day. Further Rakul Preet Singh has also said that “It is not that people are not liking the films, but after the epidemic people got used to watching at home and people give good response to films on OTT.”
