In fact, since the retirement of England all-rounder Ben Stokes from ODIs, questions are being raised on the ODI format continuously. England all-rounder Moeen Ali believes that ODIs have now started looking like a long and boring format. At the same time, he also gave his opinion about why it is not easy to play in all three formats of cricket.

’50 over format not sustainable’

England all-rounder Moeen Ali said in his recent interview that at the moment this 50 over format is not sustainable in my opinion. If this format is to be preserved then something different has to be done, because I am afraid that in the coming few years the condition of ODI format will not be very good. He goes on to say that because it is almost like long, boring. Also, this England all-rounder believes that between T20 and Test cricket, most cricketers will not take much interest in the ODI format.

‘Many cricketers will not give importance to ODI format in coming days’

Moeen Ali said that personally I think the coming times for the ODI format will not be easy. However, a lot is going on at the moment. He further says that it is very good in a way, because cricket is always played. On the retirement of Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali said that what Stokes did, it is quite possible that many cricketers will do this in the coming days. He will not give importance to the ODI format.
