Instagram profile songs: Meta-owned Instagram may soon allow users to add songs to their Insta profiles. However, it will take some time for this feature to be launched. Meta is currently testing it. Information about this feature has been shared by leakster Alessandro Paluzzi on Twitter. According to the leakster, the featured song will appear on the profile page below the user’s bio. He has shared screenshots of the prototype of this new feature and said that users are currently not allowed to play the featured song on the profile page. But once this feature is rolled out for end users, it is likely to change.
An Instagram spokesperson confirmed the feature and said it is currently an “internal prototype”. However, Instagram will not be the first social media company to allow songs to be added to its user’s profile. This feature has already been introduced by the MySpace social media platform in the early 2000s. As mentioned above, Instagram has not yet released this feature for its users.
You can choose songs from here
Currently, it allows users to add music to Instagram Stories. Instagram users can either choose songs from the app’s library or they can also choose songs from third-party apps like Spotify.
Meanwhile, the Meta-owned photo sharing app has introduced updates to hidden words along with new features to protect users from abuse. Announcing the features via a blog post, the company said that if you block someone, you will have the option to block extra accounts, making it difficult for stalker to reconnect with you.
Hidden words are an effective tool for automatically removing inappropriate content for message requests and comments. According to the company, the company is starting a test to automatically enable hidden words for creator accounts. Each user can toggle the settings on or off at any time and create a list with additional words, steps, and emoji that they want to hide.
