Pandey called for collective empowerment and awareness, encouraging women to stay informed and take necessary steps. She launched the hashtag #DeathToCervicalCancer as part of her advocacy to combat the disease’s devastating impact.
World Cancer Day, established on February 4, 2000, during the World Summit Against Cancer for the New Millennium in Paris, aims to raise global awareness and action against cancer. Cervical Cancer Prevention Week 2024 took place from January 22nd to January 28th.
