For which a scheme has been prepared to give subsidy on its purchase to encourage the farmers. The government is going to provide financial assistance to the farmers at the rate of 50 percent subsidy on the cost of the drone up to a maximum of Rs.5 lakh.

These farmers will get subsidy
The government has launched some important schemes to reduce the cost of farming. This can increase the income of the farmers. Farmers are being given subsidy on the purchase of drones. Financial assistance up to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh is being given at the rate of 50 per cent of the cost of the drone to small and marginal farmers, women farmers and farmers of North Eastern states. Other farmers are being given a subsidy of 40 percent or a maximum of Rs 4 lakh for buying drones.
