Just from this day he got attracted towards the ascetic life.

Chicago World Parliament of Religions and Vivekananda

Vivekananda came to know about the World Parliament of Religions, which was to be held in Chicago, America. It was his wish that by participating in this Parliament of Religions, the ideas of India and the Gurus should be taken to the whole world.

After a lot of effort, his wish was fulfilled and he attended the World Religion Conference in Chicago. Not only this, the speech given by him became historical. Here he preached about the principles of Vedanta and Hindu spirituality.

Swami Vivekananda’s views on Hinduism

Swami Vivekananda has said on Hinduism, the real message of Hinduism is not to divide people into different religious sects, but to unite the whole humanity in one thread. Even in Gita, Lord Krishna also gave the same message that the light that reaches us through different glasses is only one.
