Farhaan Behardien Retirement: South African star all-rounder Farhan Behardien has said goodbye to all forms of cricket. On 27th December i.e. today, he took this decision. On one hand the Boxing Day Test is being played between Australia and Africa, on the other hand the African all-rounder announced his retirement. However, Farhan Behardeen was not a part of that test. Farhan Behardeen, 39, made his debut for South Africa in 2012. Now after ten years, he has said goodbye to cricket. Farhan played the last international match for South Africa in 2018.

Farhan Behardeen announced his retirement through a Twitter post. In this post, he told how 18 years of his life came and went. Farhan made his first class debut in 2004. In these years, he played a total of 560 professional matches, including 97 international matches and won a total of 17 trophies.
Farhan Behardeen played a total of 4 World Cups. He was a part of the team in 2012, 2014 and 2016 T20 World Cups. Apart from this, Farhan was also included in the team in the ODI World Cup played in 2015. At the same time, he took command of the team in the T20 series against Sri Lanka in 2017. Farhan last captained Africa in 2018. In this post, he further thanked all the people including family, friends, coach and support staff.
