Vande Bharat Express: Trial of the fifth train of Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express has started from today. The trial of the country’s 5th Vande Bharat Express has started from MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station in Chennai. This will be the country’s first semi-high-speed service to South India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off the fifth Vande Bharat Express of Indian Railways on 11 November. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Karnataka on November 11 and his schedule includes the program to launch it.
What is special in the fifth Vande Bharat
The fifth Vande Bharat Express train running in the country will have 16 coaches. This semi high speed train has a self propelled engine. The train will have air condition chair car coaches with automatic doors. The technology of this train is very high tech. There are two parts in this train in which economy and executive class are there. According to reports, 1128 passengers can travel in this train at a time. All coaches are fitted with automatic doors and GPS based audio-visual passenger information system along with onboard hotspot Wi-Fi facility for the entertainment of passengers is also available in this train. Apart from this, there are bio-vacuum type toilets. Side recliner seats are being provided to the executive class passengers.
Know the schedule of Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express
This train will travel from Chennai to Bangalore and from there to Mysore, covering a total distance of 497 km. It will complete its journey in 6 hours 40 minutes and its average speed can be 74 kilometers per hour. This train will run for 6 out of 7 days of the week and will not operate on Wednesday. The stoppages of this train will be Bengaluru and Katpadi.

It will depart from Chennai Central at 05:50 am and reach Bangalore City Junction at 10.25 am. The train will have a 5-minute stoppage at Bangalore Junction. After this, after walking at 10.30 am, it will reach its destination station i.e. Mysore at 12.30 am.
What will be the fare of Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express train
Its fare for economy class will be Rs 921 and for executive class its fare has been kept at Rs 1880.
Target to run 75 Vande Bharat trains across the country
Under the scheme of the Central Government, the Indian Railways has a target of running 75 Vande Bharat trains across the country. Out of these, 4 have been run and the trial run of fifth has started from today.
