India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Bowl-out On This Day: The Indian cricket team won the title by defeating Pakistan by 5 runs in the final of the T20 World Cup 2007. Team India had defeated Pakistan in a group match before the final. This match was played on the same day (September 14). This match was tied. So the match was decided by ball-out. During this, Robin Uthappa, Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh performed amazingly for India.
In the match, Team India, batting first, scored 141 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. During this, Uthappa faced 39 balls and scored 50 runs with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 33 runs with the help of 3 fours and a six. While Irfan Pathan contributed 20 runs. In reply, Pakistan scored 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Misbah-ul-Haq scored 53 runs for Pakistan. But Pakistan could not win the match.
Harbhajan was entrusted with the responsibility for Team India in the second round. His ball hit the stumps and reached the wicketkeeper. While Umar Gul came to throw the ball for Pakistan. He also missed his ball. In the third round, Uthappa got the responsibility for India. His ball hit the stumps and reached the wicketkeeper. Whereas Shahid Afridi came to throw the ball from Pakistan and his ball was also missed. In this way Team India won 3-0.
