In the 2004 Ashutosh Gowariker movie Kaveri Amma: Swades, Jawan Kishori Ballal portrayed Kaveri Amma. For Shah Rukh’s on-screen character, both Kaveri Amma characters serve as non-biological mothers. When SRK referred to Ridhi as “amma,” she “cried in her heart.”
