However, there’s a twist – to ensure delivery before midnight, customers must place their orders before 1 pm. The rollout is set to commence in February, with plans for gradual expansion to serve customers in additional cities over the coming months.

Residents in cities such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Coimbatore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Patna, Raipur, Siliguri, and Vijayawada can anticipate swift deliveries by placing their orders before the early afternoon cutoff.
The initiative covers a broad spectrum of categories, including mobiles, fashion, beauty products, lifestyle items, books, home appliances, and electronics. Flipkart’s strategic move is geared towards offering customers the convenience of receiving essential items on the same day they make their purchases.
In order to facilitate seamless same-day deliveries, Flipkart has made substantial investments in its supply chain and technological infrastructure. With a monthly delivery volume exceeding 120 million packages, the platform has strategically positioned fulfillment centers to reach customers even in remote areas.
Over the past year, Flipkart has concentrated its efforts on constructing fulfillment centers and elevating technological capabilities to optimize sorting processes and increase throughput. The company’s dedicated team is actively engaged in developing machine learning models and technological solutions for efficient route planning, expedited product sorting, and reduced pick-up times from storage areas.
In a bid to minimize transit times, orders will be fulfilled from the nearest fulfillment center, showcasing Flipkart’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a seamless same-day delivery experience and customer satisfaction.
