On Tuesday, Five-Time Ballon D’Or winner and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo netted another hattrick for the Knights of Najid as AL Nassr thrash Abha Club by 8-0 in their own home ground Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City in Abha, Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo not only scored three goals but also gave two assits which resulted into repetetive goals from Senegal’s Sadio Mane, Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Hattrick in the First Half and Other Goals
Cristiano Ronaldo started the scoring for the Knights of Najid in the 11th by a low freekick from a cental position which went through the defense wall and past the Abha’s Club Romanian and former AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tătăruşanu which he tried to block with his leg but instead the ball went directly into the net.
The second goal also came from a freekick that curled around the defense wall and the goalkeeper, giving the goalkeeper no chance to move but admire the beautiful freekick delivered by one of the greatest football players in the game.
The third goal came from former Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Senegal forward Sadio Mane with a brilliant assist from the Portuguese forward after he pulled the ball from going out from the left, which gave the Senegal player an easy finish.
However, The GOAT completed his hat trick in the 42nd minute with an attractive chip outside the penalty box while the goalkeeper was outside.
But before, the break in the 44th minute the Portuguese forward gave another assist after he slipped a ball past his right Abdulmajeed Al-Sulayhim who scored a goal from a closer range.
After the break, Cristiano Ronaldo was subbed off and another Portuguese midfielder Otavio was brought in the game in which he maintained the attacking tempo and dominated the entire game for Al Nassr with a possession of 67 percent and 664 passes.
However, the Saudi winger Abdulrahman Ghareeb added a sixth goal for the Knights of Najid in the 51st minute with the rest of the two goals coming from midfielder Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa in the 63rd and 86th minute respectively.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Previous Hattrick against Al Tai
Last Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hattrick against Al Tai as Luis Castro’s Al Nassr destroy Al Tai by 5-0 in AL Nassr’s own home at AL Awwal Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The game started with the Portuguese midfielder Otavio who gave the opener for the Knights of Najid in the 20th minute but sometimes the Dutch forward Virjil Misidjan levelled the score for Al Tai with a brilliant strike at the visitor’s goal in the 22nd minute. But in the 36th minute, Misidjan was awarded a red card, in Abdulrahman Ghareeb scored back for the hosts in the 45th minute with a beautiful header.
However, in the second half Ronaldo came in the spotlight and scored for Al Nassr with a half volley in the 64th minute after getting a brilliant cross from the Senegal foward Sadio Mane.
The Portuguese forward did not stop there, he scored with another goal within three minutes in the 67th minute after Al Tai’s made an error in their defence which allowed the Portuguese international to capitalize.
He completed his hattrick in the 87th minute with another header which made him to achieve 64th consecutive hattricks in his professional football career.

Similarly, another user by the name of Twilight stated ‘Ronaldo is never getting old, he’s now getting better.’
Pier’s Morgan, a popular journalist who is the host of Piers Morgan Talkshow and also conducted the controversial interview with Ronaldo in 2022 stated on Twitter ‘The GOAT @Cristiano doing yet more GOAT things tonight.. two brilliant free kick goals, this one vintage Ronaldo.’
