Amidst the celebration of cricketing excellence, the RCB women’s team was accorded a poignant display of respect as they were honored with a guard of honor by their male counterparts. Against the backdrop of thunderous applause from an almost full-capacity crowd, the RCB women’s team embarked on a jubilant trophy walk around the field, symbolizing unity and camaraderie within the franchise and garnering enthusiastic support from the spectators.

Following the Royal Challengers’ triumphant victory over the Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League, Kohli conveyed his admiration for their achievement, while highlighting the longstanding quest of the men’s team for IPL glory over the past 16 years.

Reflecting on the women’s success, Kohli remarked, “It was absolutely amazing. When they won it (WPL), we were watching. Hopefully, we can double it up with the trophies and that will be something truly special,” speaking at the RCB Unbox event held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
