According to a prominent doctor’s postmortem report released on Tuesday, January 9, Suchana Seth, the CEO of The Mindful AI Lab, is thought to have smothered her 4-year-old son to death. Seth was detained in connection with the suspected tragic occurrence that claimed her life.
The terrible incident happened in a Goa service flat. On her way from Goa to Bengaluru, Suchana Seth was detained in Chitradurga, Karnataka. The Goa Police’s instructions were followed when making the arrest. The body of the youngster was found inside luggage.
Suchana Seth murdered her son
The tiny child was allegedly suffocated to death, most likely using a cloth or a pillow rather than hands, according to Dr. Kumar Naik, the administrative officer of Hiriyur Taluk Hospital. The lack of rigor mortis indicates that the youngster passed away more than 36 hours ago—a greater time frame than is usually seen in India.
Additionally, Dr. Naik observed that the child’s body showed no indications of blood loss or evidence of struggle. He did not, however, give a precise time of passing away.
Suchana Seth allegedly cut her left wrist in an attempt to end her life after the encounter. She ultimately changed her mind, though, and traveled back to Bengaluru in a tourist cab with her son’s remains in a suitcase. The details came from a preliminary police inquiry.
A municipal court in Goa has placed the 39-year-old West Bengali entrepreneur, Suchana Seth, who lives in Bengaluru, under police detention for six days. It is thought that the mother killed her child to keep her husband from seeing him because of their visitation rights, which the court-mandated. The couple is presently going through the divorce procedure.
According to sources, Suchana Seth was not thrilled with the court ruling allowing her husband, who is now divorced, to see their child each Sunday.
The superintendent of police for North Goa, Nidhin Valson, said, “We need to review the court order before making further statements.” The spouse of the woman was undoubtedly abroad when the crime was committed, according to the authorities. He’s been told about the situation and is currently in Jakarta.
