On Monday, top Indian actors of the South Industry, Allu Arjun and NTR Jr., were seen at the voting booth to cast their votes in Jubilee Hills. In Hyderabad, Telangana, during the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The fourth phase of the Telangana elections started at 7 a.m., and these two stars were in the group of first voters in Jubilee Hills.
Allu Arjun and Jr NTR Spotted In the Voting Booth
Pushpa star Allu Arjun was seen wearing a white t-shirt with black jeans, while JR NTR was seen wearing a blue shirt and trousers at the voting booth to vote and get their fingers inked. The fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 96 Indian Parliamentary Constituencies across nine states and union territories began at 7 a.m.

Allu Arjun stated after the voting process that ‘Please cast your vote. It is the responsibility of all the citizens of the country. Today is the most crucial day for the next 5 years. There will be a huge voter turnout, as more and more people are coming out to vote…I would like to tell, I am not politically aligned with any party. I am neutral to all parties.’
Other actors Famous Indian celebrities like legendary Indian actor and Ram Charan’s father, Chiranjeevi Konidela, also arrived with their families in the elections to cast their vote in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Hyderabad. Famous Indian cinematographer and director Teja also arrived with his family in Jubilee Hills to cast their vote.
Polling Process In Telangana
Polling for all 175 seats in the legislative assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 18 seats in the Odisha legislative assembly started simultaneously with the Lok Sabha elections. Telangana, including nine states and one union territory, went to the polls in the fourth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, in which people across 17 Indian constituencies are casting their vote in Telangana.
Out of the 96 seats in Lok Sabha, 25 are from Andhra Pradesh, 17 are from Telangana, 13 are from Uttar Pradesh, 11 are from Maharashtra, 8 each from West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, five are from Bihar, four each from Odisha and Jharkhand, and one from Jammu and Kashmir.
The Candidates Running for the Fourth Phase
The previous three rounds of the election saw a major dip in the voting process than the 2019 Indian General Elections due to which the Election Commission blamed and criticised the voters’ reluctance to hot weather conditions in some areas.
Some of the key people competeting in the fourth phase of the General Elections are Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, chief of AIMIM(All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen) Asaduddin Owaisi, the Congress chief of West Bengal Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury , TMC( All India Trinamool Congress) leader Mahua Moitra, JDU( Janata Dal United) leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh, TMC leaders Shatrughan Sinha and Yusuf Pathan and BJP leader Giriraj Singh.
Upcoming Projects for both Allu Arjun and Jr NTR
Jr. NTR is currently shooting for his long-awaited Koratala Siva’s directed upcoming movie ‘Devara‘. As said in a report, the movie will be released in two parts, with the first big installment hitting the big screen in September, and he will also make his Bollywood debut next year in Ayan Mukherji’s ‘War 2‘ with Hrithik Roshan.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun is busy with the release of his most-awaited sequel, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, which is directed by Sukumar and is slated to release in August. The actor advocated for the YSRCP( Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) candidate Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, whom Arjun calls his closest friend, but a case was registered against him and the YSRCP candidate for violating the poll code.
