According to recent reports, our Hit-Man Rohit Sharma is willing to get his retirement from the shortest format of international cricket T20is World Cup – after playing his final few matches later this year.
The belief is that Rohit’s decision is connected to the selection of Hardik Pandya in India’s T20i World Cup squad who is his current teammate and captain of the Mumbai Indians.
Currently, the relationship between these MI players is bitter which has resulted in the downfall of Mumbai.
Reportedly Hardik’s performance is witnessed to be inactive as he isn’t in his form these days.
But still, BCCI wants more all-rounders in the team which is the major reason behind the selection of Hardik Pandya and it doesn’t ends here. Recent reports say that BCCI will appoint Hardik as the captain of the team in future, and Rohit Sharma would say “goodbye” to the shortest format T20I cricket.
Many People assume that Rohit’s form is low or that the reason behind his retirement is his age. In support of former cricketer, Yograj Singh slams critics to blame Rohit’s age for his low form. He added that the 36-year-old man could play till he isn’t 50 and the so-called age factor should be scrapped out of the game.
