The all-rounder Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya is likely to miss the upcoming India-New Zealand match scheduled on October 22 in Dharamshala. Hardik had a minor injury during the India – Bangladesh Match after getting an accidental ankle twist.
During the 9th over of the last Bangladesh innings, Pandya tried to stop a shot from Litton Das with his right leg but ended up slipping in the process. He landed awkwardly on his left leg and the doctor had to rush to the field as Pandya looked in great pain.
Hardik Pandya’s injury
While Hardik clarified that though the ankle injury was minor but still proper assessments are required. As per the BCCI report, proper scans are done taking cautions about the ankle twist.
The worries of the Indian cricket fans were light heartedly handled by Indian captain Rohit Sharma. He assured that no major damage had occurred to the charismatic all-rounder Hardik. The captain appreciated Indian cricket fans joy and response towards the World Cup matches. He embraces that such joy help in boosting up team’s performance.
