Real Madrid’s Brilliant Recovery Power In Champions League
Real Madrid is a team that is always known for their magical comebacks in crucial times, especially during the Champions League. How they played against the reigning and undefeated champions Manchester City is truly extraordinary especially Valverde’s late goal-scoring ties for both the teams who will meet again in the next leg at Etihad Stadium.
They are also known for their brilliant comeback against Man City in the 2021-22 Champions League semi-final 2nd leg at the Santiago Bernabeu in which they scored 2 goals at the end to qualify for the final of the Champions League by an aggregate of 6-5.
Despite their previous meeting in Etihad Stadium ended in pure destruction in which Manchester City destroyed the defense of Real Madrid and scored 4 goals against them making it 4-0 at the end.
But, this Real Madrid side looks a lot of different with Jude Bellingham being the player who brought this extraordinary change in this team after his transfer from Borussia Dortmund for €103 million.
Player of the Match-Rodrygo
His fast pace movement and brilliant running gave City some problems as long as he was in the pinch until he substituted at the end of the game. He also scored the second goal for the Los Blancos and also set up a brilliant chance for the hosts to win the game but it was wasted by his teammate Vinicius Junior.
The match also got the best out of Rodrygo who is having an off-season with Real Madrid.
