Ankita Lokhande further remarked, “If someone wishes to befriend me, they’re welcome. I’ve always strived to forgive and move forward, but now I’m reassessing. It’s time to stand up for myself, to safeguard my well-being. Sometimes, being overly generous can be detrimental. Hence, I’m inclined to be more discerning, to prevent others from taking advantage of me.”
Expanding on her stance, Ankita Lokhande emphasized, “I’m not concerned about playing into sympathy or potentially upsetting Sushant’s fanbase. Despite the potential backlash, why should I remain silent when I have positive experiences to share? Just like I would discuss my father, who’s had a significant impact on my life. Those who’ve been part of my journey deserve recognition as they inspire me to strive for a better life. If I can offer inspiration to someone aspiring to emulate Sushant, I’ll gladly speak about him to that individual.”
