Dawood Ibrahim, the infamous underworld don was allegedly poisoned in a shocking incident in Pakistan. The nationwide internet was shut down as a result of this revelation, which led to concerns about possible attempts to censor information regarding Dawood’s dire situation.

There are a lot of rumours circulating on social media that Dawood Ibrahim, the wanted criminal, has been poisoned. His hospitalization in critical condition, according to sources, sparked worries and a rush of internet debates about his “Death” and past crimes flooding the social media handles.

He was admitted to the hospital in Karachi two days ago and has been kept under tight security. According to reports, he is the only patient on the floor and only top hospital authorities and his close family members have access to the floor.

According to reports, Dawood Ibrahim, the brains behind the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts that claimed over 250 lives and left thousands injured, may have passed away on Sunday in a Karachi hospital from poisoning.
Despite reports that he passed sometime between 8 and 9 p.m. (IST), there has been no official confirmation. The most sought terrorist in India, Dawood, is said to have lived in Pakistan for many years, an allegation Islamabad has always refuted.

The Mumbai Police is trying to get more information about Dawood from his relatives, Sajid Wagle and Alishah Parkar, regarding his hospitalisation. The son of Haseena Parker, Dawood Ibrahim’s sister told the National Investigating Agency (NIA) that Dawood stays in Karachi even after being married a second time.

Has Dawood Ibrahim’s death wreaked a havoc in Karachi?

In a video statement, Pakistani journalist Arzoo Kazmi implies that there may have been a conscious effort to hide a “major incident” by interfering with YouTube, Google, and Twitter. She confirms Dawood’s severe condition in the hospital, which raises more questions about what’s going on.

Pakistanis have suffered greatly as a result of the countrywide internet blackout exacerbating the distress caused by reduced internet speeds preceding Imran Khan’s rally. Social media users are voicing concerns about possible disruptions to business and rights violations, but the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) remained silent.

According to recent rumours Pakistan has been brought to stagnancy ever since Dawood Ibrahim’s death rumours were afloat. There has been no comment from Pakistan Government regarding the same.

Another Pakistan journalist reported that Dawood Ibrahim is not dead as of now but remains in critical condition in a hospital. A confirmed news about the same is yet awaited from the authorities in Islamabad.

Details about the culprit behind Dawood Ibrahim’s death

The person who has poisoned the infamous underworld don is understood to be unknown. There hasn’t been any light on the killer, although there have been reports that he was staying at Ibrahim’s residence as a clerk and he has fled the residence soon after the incident took place.

Not soon after the incident certain pages in India have collectively adjoined the killing with India’s secret agency RAW. Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been famous for shocking the world with secret attacks like Uri Surgical Strike and others.

However, other authorities in India and the GOI itself have refrained to comment on the topic due to unavailability of adequate information. Although, it would certainly be the biggest news if India has even 1% of anything to do in the killing of her most wanted criminal.

As the rumours surrounding Dawood’s alleged poisoning persist and the nation grapples with the internet blackout, the unfolding events present a complex web of political, criminal, and social dimensions, leaving the public in suspense and speculation.

More about Dawood Ibrahim and his Crimes

Dawood’s international crime network, ‘D Company,’ has long been involved in illicit activities such as drug trafficking, money laundering, extortion, and arms smuggling. Designated a “global terrorist” by both India and the United Nations, he carries a hefty bounty of USD 25 million.

This dreaded underworld don’s organised crime syndicate, ‘D Company,’ also allegedly played a central role in the devastating 1993 Mumbai bombings that claimed over 250 lives and left thousands injured. The National Investigating Agency (NIA) has linked the syndicate to a range of nefarious activities, cementing Dawood’s position as a high-profile target on global law enforcement lists.

Born in 1955 in the slums of Dongri, central Mumbai, Dawood’s early involvement in theft and criminal activities set the stage for his ascent in the underworld. A protege of Haji Mastan, one of Mumbai’s prominent underworld dons, Dawood’s ambition led to a violent clash within the criminal underworld in 1984, forcing him to flee to Dubai.

The year 1993 marked a turning point, as a series of bomb blasts rocked Mumbai in the aftermath of the Babri Masjid demolition. Dawood, now a fugitive, faced international scrutiny, with the FBI and Interpol placing him on their most-wanted lists. Fleeing Dubai, he sought asylum in Karachi under the protection of the Pakistani government.

Dawood Ibrahim was known as Haji Mastan’s right hand and was allegedly brought into this business by him. Mastan was the Robinhood of Byculla and Mumbai. According to reports, due to a scuffle for power, Dawood killed Mastan and then fled out of the country; resulting in powerful dominance over the island for decades to come.
